This series of drawings are energetic depictions of natural and manufactured forms–mainly feathers—in unexpected, spatially complex compositions. Through such works on paper, I investigate textures and methods of drawing as I develop larger in situ work, such as In time’s furrows.

Feathers with cornfields, 2013
Feathers with roots, 2013
Feathers with trawling chain, 2013
